It is good to see that men and women are a lot more in equal footing nowadays. This was not always the case since women were once considered second hand citizens. In some countries though, women are still treated this way until now. The same goes with homosexuals who are still looked down upon and are considered as social outcasts. That is why there are still those who are afraid to come out of the closet. They are afraid to be ridiculed and would rather conform with the common practice in society. They are “caged” and are afraid to break free.

Tiger Beer presents Tiger #uncage, its new campaign rallying people to break free from what is conventional and live the life they want. Uncage is all about looking at things differently with an open mind and following your instincts instead of the dictates of others. In the run up to National Day, Tiger Beer teamed up with Singapore’s Tree Potatoes, a popular Youtube channel featuring Aaron Khoo, Elliot Tan, and Janice Chiang. It has become one of the top three Youtube channels in Singapore inspite of starting just half a year ago. Being uncaged to them means stepping out of your comfort zone to pursue what you want in life.

In celebration of Tiger Beer National Day, Tree Potatoes came up with a video to showcase their love for Singapore and unleash local pride. Along with the hashtag #YouKnowYoureSingaporeanWhen, it documents the daily habits of Singaporeans such as their love for eating hawker food everyday, being able to speak three languages in one sentence, believing in their hearts that Singapore is always a safe place to live in, calling people by their rank even outside the office, everyone wears glasses, and complaining about the weather but getting defensive when foreigners complain about Singapore, among other things.

Uncaging the tiger within us is what Tiger Beer wants us to do. This world famous and award winning Singaporean beer brand is available in over 75 countries worldwide including Asia, Europe, USA, Latin America, Australia and the Middle East. Help spread the word by watching and sharing the video on Facebook and Twitter using #uncage. You can also share your thoughts about the video and unleash your pride about Singapore. Drop by and like the Tiger Beer Facebook page to know more about them and get the latest updates about the company.

Traveling with children is always harder than traveling without them. But leaving them at home is not an option. So, before you start the trip, make sure you are prepared for it. Here are some tips for the parents. Read and follow these and you will be more prepared.
1. Make sure you get all the clothes and passports. It is your responsibility as parent to do that. If you don’t take any of that, it is your fault.

2. Plan your trip. You should plan everything before you leave the house.

3. Expect everything. You should expect everything from the children. That’s why you should imagine almost every possible scenario that might happen so prepare for everything!

4. Prepare for sickness, allergies. Make sure you bring all the medicine you need.

5. If you’re traveling by train, bus or plane, explain your children that they should be quiet and they should not disturb everyone around. Or find something that doesn’t make noise to keep them busy. At least today, with a lot of technology it should be easier than before. Bring snacks, drinks anything that they might need during the trip.

6. Organize a lot of small activities. If your children know what’s next, then they will be looking forward for that. But if you only have one activity, then most probably they will do whatever they want after it ends. So organize more and they will be busier.

Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera in Malay) is located on the island of Penang, within the area called Air Itam. It is about 6 km (3.7 miles) from Georgetown (Penang city). Despite the first impression one might have of Georgetown as a busy place, it is a town of leisure beneath is façade. People who live here enjoy their city and island. They frequent the parks and garden, take trips around the island and visit the many temples. Penang Hill is one of their favorite spots. As far back as 1897, people were struck by the scenic beauty and “the desirability of Penang Hill as a health resort”.

There was only one problem: getting there. Someone finally came up with the idea of building a railway to the summit. After years of labor, the line was completed. Two passenger cars mounted on tracks were attached to a thick cable, which passed through pulleys. Steam power was ruled out in favour of a Pelton wheel, propelled by water power. “An ingenious method” was the remark at the time. Everyone waited the day when the rail cars would start rolling. Unfortunately, when the day finally arrives, the water wheels failed to even spin. But, no worry, it is working well nowadays as government even made a renovation and renewed the trains. The total journey to the top of the hill takes around twenty minutes and the train may stop at other intermediate station upon request. For those that love relaxing vacation, you may book a hotel on the hill and stay for two or three days, enjoy a night view on top of the hill. It will be an excellent vacation you ever have!

I believe everybody have heard about this brand and many people dream about having a Lamborghini. Unfortunately they are very expensive and not many people can afford owning one.

Ferruccio Lamborghini founded this company in 1963 with the objective of producing a refined grand touring car to compete with offerings from established marques such as Ferrari. Through its history it envisioned and presented variety of concept cars. Beginning in 1963 with 350GTV – the very first Lamborghini prototype. It had many famous muddles such as 1974 Bravo, 1980 Athon and many others.

The ost important markets in 2004 for Lamborghini’s sports cars are the United States with 41% of the total sales. Next is Germany with 13%, then Great Britain with 9% and Japan with 8%. Hiking Necessities

I love being outdoors but as much as I want to indulge in activities like hiking and camping, my busy schedule does not give me a lot of time to do so. But whenever I do have time, I try to enjoy these activities to the fullest. Hiking is something that I enjoy because it has many health benefits such as improved cardio-respiratory and muscular fitness, increased bone density or a slower loss of density, reduced depression, better quality of sleep, and weight control among others. Furthermore, I get to enjoy the beauty of nature.

There are plenty of places around the world where you can do this activity but hiking in Australia remains to be on top of my list. It has some grand walking trails like Heysen Trail, Victoria’s Wilsons Promontory, Bibbulmun Track, and Larapinta Trail across the Northern Territory’s West MacDonnell Ranges where you can do day walks, short scenic sections or pace end-to-end on trips that take weeks or months to finish.

Naturally you will need to wear the right clothes and shoes and have appropriate gear on your hiking trip. The essentials however, do not need to be expensive to be trail-worthy. But it would be great if they are functional, comfortable, and fashionable. Wear synthetic T-shirts, shorts, wool sweater, waterproof / wind-proof rain / wind jackets, hiking or rain pants, and hiking specific socks. As for footwear, hiking boots are the way to go. Your backpack needs to be big enough to carry your food, water, extra clothes and other necessities (map and compass, firestarter and matches, multi-tool or knife, first aid kit, flashlight or headlamp and extra batteries, sunscreen and sunglasses) comfortably.

Nowadays, we see a lot of online stores selling sportswear and outdoor clothing at affordable prices. One of them is The Clymb which offers discounts of up to 70% off retail on the best hiking gear by the most premium brands. Here you will find men and women’s apparel, hiking shoes, packs, poles, and a lot more from brands like Adidas, Timberland, Teko, Keen, Hanwag, Merrell Footwear, Columbia, Ecco etc. I happen to be interested in the Men’s Terrex Fast X Mid GTX from Adidas which is great for quick hikes. Some of its features are TRAXION outsole built with Continental Rubber for extraordinary grip on slick surfaces, FORMOTION in the heel which enhances control, and protective synthetic-and-mesh upper lined in waterproof breathable GORE-TEX.
